孟森:两个取得卓越业绩的关键因素

取得卓越业绩是所有企业的首要目标，运营效益和战略定位是实现这一目标的两个关键因素，但人们往往混淆了这两个最基本的概念。

运营效益意味着相似的运营活动能比竞争对手做得更好。战略定位则意味着运营活动有别于竞争对手，或者虽然类似，但是其实施方式有别于竞争对手。

几乎没有企业能一直凭借运营效益方面的优势立于不败之地。运营效益代替战略的最终结果必然是零和竞争、一成不变或不断下跌的价格，以及不断上升的成本压力。

在过去30年中，中国很多企业都曾取得了非常好的业绩，即使在今天他们也依然是行业的领先者，但是千万不要把运营效益作为追求的目标，这仅仅获得的是暂时性的胜利或者阶段性的胜利，持久的胜利还需要战略定位：为顾客创造价值。
